Course aim
Give every team member a role in fire prevention and evacuation so patients with limited mobility are not left in a chair while staff argue about the assembly point.
What you will be able to do
- 1Describe how fire starts in dental premises and how to stop fuel, oxygen and ignition meeting
- 2Explain the responsible person, fire risk assessment, and what staff must be told
- 3Evacuate by the planned route, including patients with limited mobility, without using lifts
- 4Know when not to fight a fire, and how to report it afterwards
