Course aim
Give Foundation and PLVE dentists a working habit of checking competence, using their named supervisor, and stopping before a procedure they cannot retrieve.

- 2Decide when you must stop, ask, or refer rather than “have a go”
- 3Use your educational or clinical supervisor and the rest of the team without waiting for a crisis

Written for: Foundation dentists, PLVE dentists, and other dentists new to UK primary care. Therapists and hygienists who plan or refer will also find it useful.
