Level 2 module 3 of 3. Completing 1, 2 and 3 is 3 hours — the usual clinical minimum.

Children
Use the local safeguarding children partnership / MASH (or equivalent) pathway. If a child is in immediate danger, 999. You do not need parental consent if seeking it would increase risk, but be open where it is safe.
Adults
Local authority adult safeguarding. Support the person in decisions where they can take part. Involve relevant partners. Do not delay a referral because the paperwork is fiddly.
What to include
Identity and contacts, what was seen and said, clinical findings, who else is at home, what you have already done, and your working concern. Follow the local form.
